The search continues for a missing girl in Hillsborough County. 11-year-old Jenna Irmler, who has Aspergers Syndrome, hasn't been seen since Tuesday night.

Deputies and neighbors are currently checking the area around Bell Shoals Road, south of  Bloomingdale Avenue in Brandon.

The 11-year-old's parents told deputies they last saw her at home Tuesday around 9 p.m. By 5 a.m. Wednesday, they realized she was gone.

"We deployed our aviation units, our K9 teams, our marine units, our dive teams," said Col. Donna Lusczynski with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. "We have no clear sign she was abducted. We do have a witness who believes he saw her within the subdivision shortly after 9 last night."

Jenna's family told investigators that it's not uncommon for her to go out walking, but not for this long.

A video posted on Jenna's YouTube channel on February 12 shows her walking through the woods.

She said, "I do like walking in here. It does calm me down."

Below the video are now dozens of comments urging her to come home.

"She's somewhat shy and likes to be by herself, so, she does like to go into the woods," said Lusczynski. "She's been in the woods before. It's her little play area. She's gone in there for an hour or so but she's always come back."

The Sheriff's Office is collecting home surveillance videos and checking each of the 28 sex predators and offenders who live in a 2-mile radius.

While HCSO crews scoured wooded areas near Jenna's home, about 50 people assembled at a shopping plaza nearby. They were friends from Nativity Catholic School, where Jenna attends. They were neighbors. And, some where just people who wanted to help.

The group, armed with flyers and flashlights, checked yards, businesses, alleys and anywhere Jenna might have gone.

"I'm sick to my stomach," said neighbor Gundi Wanders.  "I hope that she comes home safe."

Jenna Irmler was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black sweatpants with a pink stripe on the side. She's 5'2", 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information reference Irmler's whereabouts is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200
