Florida woman tells deputy: 'No wonder you people get shot' during traffic stop
WEST PALM BEACH (FOX 13) - A driver suspected of blasting through a school zone in Palm Beach County decided to give a deputy a mouthful during a routine traffic stop, according to dash-cam video.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's office shared the footage on their Facebook page and it quickly went viral with more than 2 million views in less than a day.
According to the sheriff's office, it was back on September 1 when a deputy pulled over a woman for allegedly driving 51 miles per hour in a 20-mph school zone. When the deputy approached the woman's door, she's heard telling him in the video, "You know what? No wonder you people get shot," followed by an expletive.
The deputy thanked her, gave her her ticket, and told her to have a nice day.
The fine for speeding in the school zone is $606.
