Hillsborough Avenue reopens after unattended package cleared
TAMPA, Fla. - A suspicious package turned out to be a box of concrete samples, which briefly shut down a portion of Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa.
Tampa police closed traffic in both directions between 22nd Street and 30th Street as officers investigate the unattended package. The closure lasted for less than an hour.
Police were asking drivers to avoid the area, but traffic reopened around 9 a.m..
