Tampa police officer dies after battle with cancer
TAMPA (FOX 13) - A local law enforcement officer passed away after his battle to cancer.
Tampa police announced on the agency’s Facebook page Officer Will Caballero died Wednesday night after fighting cancer.
They described him as a veteran law enforcement officer, who served as a Florida Highway Patrol and Osceola County deputy before joining the Tampa Police Department.
“The Caballero and TPD families extend our deepest gratitude to our community for the love and support you showed Will, his wife, and his children during his courageous battle,” the agency wrote on its Facebook page. "Rest easy, Will, we will take your watch from here.”
