2 men arrested for murder after violent home invasion: CCSO
HOMOSASSA, Fla. - Two men have been arrested on murder charges after a home invasion led to gunfire in Citrus County a week ago, the sheriff's office announced Thursday.
CCSO said Aaron Kyle, 44, was shot on Thursday, Dec. 19, at a home on South Scarlet Oak Terrace near Homosassa.
Kyle was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive.
The sheriff's office said investigators used details given by witnesses to find two suspects: Shawn Hutton and Andrew Gore. Both are 34 years old.

Hutton and Gore face charges of murder while engaged in home invasion robbery, home invasion with a firearm or another deadly weapon, and kidnapping with intent to commit/commission any felony.
"This case has presented significant challenges," Sheriff Mike Prendergast said in a statement. "Our detectives have worked tirelessly on this case, and it was crucial to maintain the integrity of the investigation by withholding certain details. This careful approach ultimately ensured the immediate arrest of the two suspects involved, demonstrating our commitment to a thorough investigation."
