Bay area brothers trek from Alaska to Argentina...on their bikes
Two Bay area brothers traveled over 16,000 miles and spanned 15 countries...on their bicycles.
Matt and Andrew Sufficool, 33 and 31 years old, had an ambitious idea one day.
They wanted to ride their bicycles from the most northern point in Alaska, to the most southern point in Argentina- a ride just shy of 17,000 miles.
Their epic journey took then exactly 366 days, allowing them to arrive at their goal in Ushuaia, Argentina on June 5th of this year.
Why? They say, because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
FOX 13 photojournalist Jonathan Galed shows us their journey in the video and images above.
