A dispute between two co-workers ended in deadly gunfire at a local bar overnight.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at the One Night Stand Bar on East State Road 60 just after it closed, around 3:15 a.m.

According to Colonel Donna Lusczynski, the two employees, who were off duty at the time, started arguing inside the bar, but then took things outside.

That’s when things escalated, and one of them pulled a gun and shot the other multiple times.

The victim, still identified only as an adult male, was said to be alive when deputies arrived, but they were unable to save him.

Col. Luszynski says investigators are talking with all other parties involved, including the shooter, so there is no danger to the public.

The investigation continues.

FOX 13 will continue with updates as they become available.
