Minneapolis man chronicles beloved stuffed dog's journey back to New York
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Aaron Gall wasn’t about to let a little girl’s stuffed animal spend the holidays solo.
His girlfriend, Christine, has a 3-year-old daughter who left her stuffed dog, aptly named “I Am Dog,” at his house in Minneapolis. It’s Christmastime, and what’s a little girl in New York to do without “I Am Dog?”
Heading to the Big Apple for the holidays, Aaron packed up I Am Dog on Thursday night and he has been chronicling his tour of the country.

Aaron and I Am Dog are still en route on the train as of this writing, stay tuned for more photos from their adventure.
I Am Dog was initially skeptical about boarding the train, but he was promised a nice meal at his next stop, so he obliged.

Aaron and I Am Dog are making a pit stop in Philadelphia to see a friend, and she invited the pair to see a big musical in town. On a side note, her husband was in a few episodes of Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Aaron and I Am Dog enjoyed a bachelor breakfast and went off to put in a few hours at a local coffee shop to pay for the trip. They attempted to snag a little construction work, I Am Dog loves digging, after all, but it turned out being a barista wasn't so bad, even without opposable thumbs.
I Am Dog tried to donate himself to the Salvation Army -- charity organizations are near and dear to his heart. Christine had fallen on hard times when I Am Dog was brought into the picture. She didn't have anything to give her daughter for Christmas, but a local charity presented her with the dog, and the rest is history.

After 3 long weeks, I Am Dog and his best friend were reunited in New York. When you're 3, your stuffed friends are your world. As for Aaron, he won best boyfriend award, but with his efforts, she'll be able to look back on I Am Dog's adventures for years to come and share a special memory each Christmas, no matter how many new stuffed friends join her fleet.
