A python hunter in Parrish was hired to catch a nearly 14-foot snake, but didn’t expect to find it was run over.

Bill Booth was called in the morning of December 3 to find the large python -- which measured to be 13.9 feet -- on the Mosaic property in Parrish. He hunted the python for about four days, and found it was hit and killed.

It’s believed the accident occurred on December 2.  It’s unclear where Booth transported the now-dead reptile.
