SpaceX launches, lands recycled Falcon 9
CAPE CANAVERAL (FOX 13) - SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched and landed once again, delivering a commercial communications satellite into orbit in the process.
The satellite, called the EchoStar 105/SES-11, was put into a Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO).
SpaceX completely the launch at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Wednesday, October 11 just after the two-hour launch window opened at 6:53 p.m.
Falcon 9 landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which is stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
