Tampa pedestrian killed after stepping into traffic
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Police have now identified the pedestrian killed in Tampa last night.
It happened along East Hillsborough Avenue near North 15th Street. Investigators now say, for some reason, 47-year-old Melvin Allen stepped off the sidewalk and into the path of an oncoming car.
We're told the driver stayed at the scene and is not facing any charges.
