Calves reported stolen from Polk City pastures
POLK CITY (FOX 13) - Four calves were reported stolen in Polk County.
Polk County deputies said sometime between October 23 and 28, four calves were stolen from pastures near Berkley Road and Interstate 4, as well as Orange Avenue and Barfield Road in Polk City. The calves range in weight from 150 to 200 pounds.
A red-and-white faced heifer weight about 600 pounds is almost missing. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of one of the calves and asked for anyone with information on the thefts to contact Detective Jay Scarborough at 853-534-7205.
