Deputies seek persons of interest after death of Fort Myers man
BRADENTON (FOX 13) - Friday's investigation by Manatee County Sheriff's Office of a body found in a church parking lot off State Road 70 now has the attention of Lee County detectives.
The body was identified as that of 58-year-old Ted Lee, of Fort Myers, and detectives believe Lee was killed in Lee County. Lee was last seen on Thursday, July 14th, before being reported missing.
In a press release, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said the man was "believed to be in danger."
Before Lee's body was recovered in Manatee County, Lee County detectives asked for the public's help in locating his vehicle, a 2015 silver Toyota Corolla with Florida tag K303BN.
They are also searching for three persons of interest who may have had knowledge of Lee's whereabouts. The persons of interest are 18-year-old Jonathan Ruffini, 24-year-old Tyson Hunter and 14-year-old Lavaya May.
