Deputies say a fuel truck ran a red light on Linebaugh Avenue this morning and wound up rolling over onto an SUV, killing the man inside.

The accident happened at the intersection of Linebaugh and Sheldon Road around 5:45 a.m.  The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office says the Nissan SUV had the green light when it pulled south into the intersection on Sheldon.

The tanker truck, driven by Craig Allen, was traveling westbound on Linebaugh when it "failed to stop at the red light," deputies said.  It hit the SUV and rolled over, trapping and killing the Nissan driver inside his vehicle.

That driver has not yet been publicly identified.

Allen, 33, submitted to a blood draw and deputies say alcohol did not play a factor in this crash.  No charged have been filed but the investigation is continuing.
