FWC dive team finds body of missing Sarasota boater

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) recovered the body of a missing boater on Friday around 11 a.m. in the area of Big Sarasota Pass.
Emergency crews were called around 5 p.m on Thursday after a boater went missing in the area.
No other details, including the boater’s identity were immediately released.
The FWC is actively investigating this incident.
