Girlfriend charged in deadly stabbing
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Clearwater Police have charged a woman in connection to the deadly stabbing of her boyfriend.
Police were called out to the home along N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. just after 8 Saturday morning.
58-year-old Donald Elford Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene.
Elise Vernell Johnson was taken in for questioning and later charged with manslaughter.
Detectives say the stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute.
