High school cross country team runs with shelter dogs

A California high school cross country team is using their workouts to make a difference to local shelters.

Cross country team members at St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria, California took over 12 local shelter dogs on their morning run this week.

Their coach, Luis Escobar, had the idea for the team and is using the video to encourage people to adopt from the shelter.

They hope to continue bringing the dogs out regularly.
