Lamborghini cut in half during fiery crash

A Lamborghini was cut in half in a fiery crash in North Miami Beach early Friday morning.

North Miami Beach Police said two people in the high-end sports car suffered minor injuries, but were expected to be OK, according to WSVN 7 News.

What caused the crash was unclear, but a witness said there was a loud ‘boom’ before he saw the car’s two halves burning in the roadway.

The witness said he saw a person, with flames coming from their arms and legs, get out of one side of the car.

An officer reportedly helped take the other person out of the car.

The rear of the vehicle landed in the middle of the roadway and the front landed in a nearby parking lot; its flames damaging another parked vehicle.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
