No suspects in shooting death of Lakeland man, police say

LAKELAND (FOX 13) - Lakeland police need help in identifying a suspect or suspects after the shooting death of a 55-year-old man, they say.
On Monday after 4 p.m., Lakeland police responded to Lakeland Manor Apartments at 929 Gilmore Avenue.
Police say a facility’s maintenance worker found the deceased male, later identified as Roderick Childs, inside one of the apartments during an inspection. Investigators say he was fatally shot.
