Winter Haven fighter getting ready to face Floyd Mayweather

Dieusel Berto is ready to watch his son take on the biggest fight of his life.

"This is bigger than life it is an opportunity of a lifetime," he said.

It is the chance to knock-off the 48-0 Floyd Mayweather.

Berto's son Andre Berto will have that chance on September 12 on Pay Per View.

"The advantage we have with him is power, speed and heart," explained Berto.

Andre grew up in Winter Haven training at his father's gym.

He's 30-3 in his 11-year career. Some critics say he shouldn't be fighting Mayweather, Floyd handpicked Berto.

"I chose Berto because he's very exciting," Mayweather told Showtime Sports.

"I'm dialed in I'm focused read to go in and take what's mine," Andre Berto told Showtime Sports.

Berto's dad expects the bout to be more of a slug-fest than a technical fight. He predicts a stoppage, in favor of his son of course.

"He has nothing to lose so he's going to go in there and give it his all," added Berto.
