Here's what you can look forward to this Spring
LOS ANGELES - Good news! On March 20th, the day will be almost exactly as long as the night. In other words: it’s the first day of Spring! And if warm weather isn’t enough to look forward to, here are some of the most important dates coming up in Spring:
- If you’re observing lent, it ends on March 29th, though if you’re fasting we bet you already knew that. If you’re Jewish, one of the most important holidays, Passover, starts the very next day on March 30th and ends April 7th.
- And you might want to look out for a trick or two in your Easter basket, because this year Easter Sunday falls on April 1st.
- For fans of baseball there’s no better day in Spring than Opening Day, and this year opening day is March 29th, the earliest opening day ever.
- And although you might think of Memorial Day as the unofficial start of summer, it’s really right in the middle of Spring: Summer doesn’t officially start until June 21st.
Spring is finally here, and we want to hear from you: What’s your favorite part of the season?
