Man finds, buys wife's '85 Mercedes convertible decades later

This Mother's Day came with a sweet surprise for one Tampa family.

Julio Sanchez told FOX 13 that his wife used to drive a red 1985 Mercedes convertible when they first met and began dating.

The Mercedes, which was a two-seater, was a great car for the couple, but they sold it in the 1990's when they decided to start a family.

Fast forward to 2016, Sanchez was determined to track down that same exact car to surprise his wife. It took several months, many phones calls and a trip to Georgia, but in the end Sanchez was able to buy his wife's former convertible.

On Sunday, the Sanchez family returned from Mother's Day breakfast to find the 1985 Mercedes in their driveway with a big bow on top.
